Black and Asian Future Chairs Academy (BAFCA)

On the premise that diversity and inclusion start at the top, we launched in 2023 a unique programme – BAFCA – to develop a pipeline of future Black and Asian charity chairs. We intend to do this through a one-year programme of support, learning and development for the programme participants. This includes discounted or fully subsidised membership of the Association of Chairs and the offer of a current or former Chair as mentor.

We very much welcome organisations getting in touch if interested in being involved with BAFCA in some way whether in providing mentoring or shadowing opportunities or other appropriate support.
